1999

I am so spoiled. Travis recently returned from a week and half long trip to Iowa-see (meaning he went to Iowa, then to Tennessee, then back to Iowa)--since his return he has allowed me to do and have whatever my little heart has so desired. I have been shopping, been beaching and been partying like its 1999.  And the only words out of this sweet mans mouth have been "You work hard, you deserve to play hard."  If I could give the Roth's a congressional medal of honor for having raised such an incredibly sweet-souled man, the ceremony would of been yesterday!  I say this often, but Travis works so hard. And if the man has any faults, they cannot be noticed through the hours he spends sweating and toiling, to bring in the dough, that allows me to do so much of afore mentioned "beaching, shopping and partying".

So my weekend was wonderful. Friday night was spent with my sweet honey (he worked the weekend--see: hardest working man I've ever met). Saturday was spent lazing, grazing and shopping (see: Victoria Secret Semi-Annual sale, also see: Sarah has little to no self control when it comes to getting a bargain priced anything). Saturday night I went out with one of my best and sweetest girlfriends for a night out on the town. Wasn't so much out on the "town", we found one place, met some neat people and stayed til they shut it down.  Lots of laughs and quite a funny memory or ten made and need I say my legs were thoroughly danced off? (In case you were wondering, the near constant wearing of boots hasn't inhibited my ability to wear 4 inch heels)  My sweet and ever attentive prince charming chauffeured us home. Fun. Night. And that was only Saturday!  Sunday was spent with previously mentioned sweet friend and we shopped (some more! A girl can never have too much of... well, anything.)  We had some lunch, caught a movie, had some dinner and called it a day.  The sweet life of me. :)

Anyhow. I'm going to cut this short, I just wanted to make sure I wrote to remember this weekend.

Things to Remember:
Your husband is an ahhh-mazing man. Next time he leaves a mess in the living room, remember that he picked you up from Bailey's and endured your drunken singing and dancing duo in the car, all with a smile on his face, after he worked 12+ hours that day.

Also, up. stairs.

Nik met Angelo Saturday. Should this date need remembering in the future.

Countdown to deployment starts now...  Get to making some memories!

Make a bucket list. You've never had one.

Call Trav's parents and tell them how great they are more often.

Oh, and you became an NCO this week.  One down, tons more to go.
